 (past continuous + past simple)
Ex.: She was playing tennis when she fell down

PAST SIMPLE

1- When do we use the past simple? 

    When we want to talk about completed ACTIONS IN THE PAST


2 types of verbs
    - Regular verbs: Verb+ed = Played
                                                 Worked
                                                 Studyied

    - Irregular Verbs: irregular verbs list = Buy - bought
                                                                  Go - went
                                                                  Eat - Ate

- When did he start his journey?
He started his journey on 30th August

- Where did he start it?
He started it in Western Australia

- When did he finish it?
He finished it in January

- What time did he arrive in Brisbane?
He arrived at 12:30

- How many pairs of shoes did he wear?
He wore 14 pairs of shoes.

- Did he have a good time?
Yes, he did. He had a fantastic time!
